The energy hub was delighted to be invited to participate in an Energy Union open day at St. Michael’s Credit Union in Blackrock Cork.
Luke Casey (St. Michael’s) & Caitríona Courtney (Energy Hub) met with members and discussed home energy improvements and different SEAI grants that are available.
Energy Union is a One-Stop-Shop for retrofitting your home, we are a collection of community based organisations working together to help people upgrade their homes to make them more energy efficient. Energy Hub will advise on suitable SEAI registered contractors, apply for grants on your behalf and the Credit Union can provide a green loan with lower interest rate if required to pay the balance.
The process is simple.
To get started, simply click on your local participating credit union on the Energy Union website and fill out the expression of Interest form. An Energy Hub team member will then contact you shortly to discuss your home.
